In the Morning
Author’s Summary: This was a flash fiction story I wrote during my Sophomore year English class. I had just read the book “In Memoriam” by Alice Winn (which you should totally read if you’re into queer historical romance) and the descriptions of WWI were knocking around in my head. We had also been learning about the world wars in my history class that year and so this short story was born!
